As requested by Heaven and visioned by Mary Ann,
Van
Hoof,
this shrine is
the
Eighth
Station with Our Lord leaving the street in Jerusalem. The
Compassion of Our Lord is so great at this moment when carrying the Cross of all
mankind, that he willingly gives Himself in all humility for all who are sorry
for their sins.
Many of the good women are moved to tears at the cruel and inhuman treatment of Our Lord. He reminds
them "weep not for Me but for
your sins and those of your children." Christ's suffering
and death opened the gates of Heaven for all mankind. By sin, especially
the black sin of abortion they are recrucifying Our Lord today. They are
bringing the Divine Chastisement down on the World, especially our Nation.
Though too late to avert it, an all-out effort for the Rosary and The Constant
Vigil of Prayer, could still help to hold it back, lessen its severity, and
shorten its duration.
