650 The Annunciation,
Incarnation, Birth of Our Lord
The purpose of this booklet is to
give its readers the best possible explanation of God's plan for our salvation
and how it all started with the First Christmas and the Birth of His Divine Son.
Hopefully, it will make the season of Advent and Christmas more interesting,
meaningful, and spiritually profitable. It should also help us better understand
and appreciate the beauty and depth of the many intimate details that the
Blessed Virgin Mary wants us to reflect on when meditating on the Life, Death,
and Resurrection of Her Divine Son in the mysteries of Her Most Holy Rosary.
Christ came among us on that First
Christmas and now continues to come to us at each and every Holy Sacrifice of
the Mass. Our Blessed Mother told Blessed Alan, ", . . that after the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass, which is the most important as well as the Living
Memorial of Our Lord's Passion, there could not be a finer devotion or
one of greater merit than that of the Rosary."
The "real" spirit of Christmas is
meant to be ours each time we attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass or reflect
on the Divine Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary.
